Roofing Contractor in Wenatchee, WA

A roof in the Wenatchee Valley works hard. Summer heat bakes the shingles, wind lifts edges, and winter snow sits on the north slope for weeks. Greenpoint Construction LLC handles inspections, repairs, full tear-offs, and new installs for homeowners across the valley.

Start with an honest inspection

Before anyone talks about a new roof, we get up there and look. We check shingle condition, granule loss, flashing at walls and chimneys, penetrations, valleys, ridge and eave venting, and the state of the decking where it can be seen from below.

You get a plain description of what we found, photos of the problem areas, and a recommendation. Sometimes that recommendation is a repair and a few more years, not a replacement.

Tear-offs and new installs

When a roof is done, we strip it to the deck rather than laying new shingles over old ones. Stripping is the only way to see rotted sheathing, and it is the only way the new underlayment and flashing get installed correctly.

Bad decking is replaced, ice and water shield goes at eaves and valleys, new flashing is installed rather than reused, and vents are corrected if the attic is not moving air the way it should. Then the new roofing goes on to the manufacturer's spec so the warranty stands.

Materials and ventilation

Architectural asphalt shingles are the most common choice here for durability and availability. Metal is a solid option on steeper slopes and homes that shed heavy snow. We will walk you through what each one takes to install and maintain on your specific roof.

Ventilation gets attention on every job. Intake at the soffit and exhaust at the ridge keeps attic heat and moisture moving, which extends shingle life and helps with ice damming in winter.

Site protection and cleanup

Tear-offs are messy. We tarp landscaping and siding, keep debris contained, and run a magnet over the driveway, lawn, and walkways to pick up nails before we leave.

You get a final walkthrough and photos of the finished work, including areas you cannot see from the ground.

FAQ

Roofing Questions

How do I know if I need a new roof or just a repair?
Age, granule loss, curling or missing shingles, and repeat leaks in different spots point to replacement. A single leak around a vent or flashing is usually a repair. We inspect and tell you which one you are looking at.
Do you go over the old shingles?
No. We tear off to the deck so we can find and replace bad sheathing and install underlayment and flashing correctly.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most homes in the valley are a two to four day job depending on size, pitch, layers being removed, and how much decking needs to be replaced.
Can you work with my insurance claim?
We can document damage with photos and provide a written scope of work you can give your adjuster. We do not handle the claim for you.
Do you clean up the nails?
Yes. Magnet sweeps of the driveway, lawn, and walkways are part of every tear-off, and we do a final pass with you before leaving.
