Roof Repair & Leak Repair in the Wenatchee Valley

Most roof problems in the valley are small before they are large. A lifted shingle, cracked pipe boot, or failed flashing lets water into the sheathing long before a stain shows up on your ceiling. Greenpoint Construction LLC finds the source and fixes it.

Finding the actual leak

Water rarely enters where it drips. It runs along rafters, trusses, and the underside of the decking before it finds a place to fall. We start at the stain, then trace uphill to the entry point rather than guessing and sealing the nearest thing that looks wrong.

Common sources here are pipe boots that have dried and split, step flashing at wall intersections, chimney counterflashing, skylight curbs, valley debris, and nail pops from an older install.

Repairs we handle

Replacing damaged or blown-off shingles, resetting and replacing flashing, installing new pipe boots and vent collars, sealing skylight curbs, repairing valley details, and replacing sections of rotted decking where water has already been sitting.

Wind damage after a valley storm is a regular call. If shingles came off, we check the surrounding field too, because the ones still up there are often loosened even when they look fine from the ground.

When repair is the wrong answer

There is a point where patching a roof stops making sense. If the shingles are brittle, the granules are gone, or you are calling about a third leak in a different place, we will say plainly that a repair is work done twice.

That is a conversation, not a sales pitch. Plenty of roofs we look at get a repair and several more seasons of service.

Interior damage and follow-up

Once the roof is watertight, the ceiling and wall damage inside still needs attention. Because we also handle drywall, texture, and paint, the stained ceiling and the leak can be closed out by the same contractor instead of two separate calls.

We photograph the repair so you have a record of what was done and where.

FAQ

Roof Repair Questions

How fast can you look at a leak?
Call or text 509-398-3986. Active leaks get scheduled ahead of cosmetic work, and we will tell you honestly when we can be there.
Can you repair one section without redoing the whole roof?
Yes, that is most of what roof repair is. We match the existing shingle as closely as the product line allows.
Will the repair match my existing shingles?
Close, though a repair on a sun-faded roof will usually be slightly darker until it weathers. We tell you up front when that will be noticeable.
Do you fix the ceiling stain inside too?
We can. Once the roof is dry we patch, texture, and paint the interior damage as part of the same job.
What if the repair shows the roof is at the end of its life?
We will show you photos and explain what we found, then write up both options so you can decide between a repair and a replacement.
