Interior Painting in Wenatchee & East Wenatchee, WA

Interior painting is detail work. Straight lines where the wall meets the ceiling, doors and trim that look sprayed instead of brushed, and a house you can live in while the work is happening. That is what our interior crews are set up to do.

Rooms, whole houses, and everything between

We paint single rooms, hallways and stairwells, full interiors before a move, and occupied homes one section at a time. Common projects are living rooms and bedrooms, kitchens and laundry rooms, ceilings that have gone dingy, and door and trim packages through a whole floor.

For occupied homes we sequence the work so you keep a usable kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom while we move through the rest of the house.

Prep is most of the job

Furniture is moved to the middle of the room and covered, floors are protected, and switch plates and hardware come off. Nail holes, dings, and old anchor holes get filled and sanded. Water stains and patched drywall get spot primed so they do not flash through the finish coat.

We caulk gaps at trim and baseboard before painting, which is the difference between trim that looks new and trim that looks touched up.

Doors, trim, and cabinets

Interior doors, casing, baseboard, closet doors, and built-ins get a finish appropriate for how much they get touched. Enamels on trim and doors dry harder than wall paint so handprints and shoe scuffs wipe off instead of soaking in.

Cabinet refinishing follows the same logic with more prep: degrease, sand, prime for adhesion, then spray so there are no brush marks on the doors and drawer fronts.

Low disruption, clean finish

We use low odor products where the space calls for it, keep tools and materials contained to the room being worked, and vacuum at the end of each day. Rooms are put back together, not left as a staging area.

The last step is a walkthrough with you under normal room lighting. Whatever you point out gets corrected before we pack up.

FAQ

Interior Painting Questions

Can I stay in the house while you paint?
Yes. We work in sections so you keep access to a kitchen, bathroom, and place to sleep, and we use low odor products in occupied spaces.
Do you move the furniture?
We move and cover normal furniture. We ask that you handle valuables, electronics, and anything fragile before we start.
How many coats do you apply?
Two finish coats is standard, plus primer where the surface needs it. Big color changes and bare drywall always get primed first.
Do you paint ceilings and popcorn texture?
Yes to ceilings. Textured ceilings can be painted, though older texture may need to be tested first because some of it loosens when it gets wet.
Can you paint kitchen cabinets instead of replacing them?
If the boxes and doors are solid, refinishing is a common way to update a kitchen. We will tell you honestly if the cabinets are too far gone to be worth it.
