LANDSCAPING

Landscaping Services in Wenatchee, WA

Yards in the Wenatchee Valley live under long stretches of dry heat, thin rocky soil, and a lot of slope. Greenpoint Construction LLC builds and maintains outdoor spaces that account for all three, from retaining walls and irrigation to sod and seasonal cleanup.

Landscaping that fits a dry valley

Summers here run hot with very little rain, and most lots sit on sandy or rocky ground that drains fast. A yard planned for wetter climates burns out by August. We plan grading, soil amendment, and water delivery together so the plants you pay for get what they need without running a meter all season.

That usually means grouping plants by water demand, keeping turf where it is actually used, and putting gravel, bark, or drought-tolerant beds where it is not. It is a practical way to keep a yard green without fighting the climate every year.

Hillside lots, grading, and retaining

A lot of valley properties sit on a grade. Water moves fast down those slopes and takes soil with it, so usable yard space often starts with holding the hill in place. We build block and boulder retaining walls, terraces, and planting beds that turn a slope into flat ground you can walk on.

Drainage gets designed into the wall rather than added later. Gravel backfill, drain rock, and a proper base keep pressure off the structure through spring runoff and winter freeze cycles.

Irrigation, sod, and planting

We install sprinkler and drip systems zoned so lawn, beds, and trees each get their own schedule. New lawns go in as sod or seed depending on the season and how soon you need the space usable, over prepared and amended soil rather than straight onto native ground.

Trees, shrubs, and perennials are chosen for our zone and sun exposure. South-facing walls in Wenatchee radiate a lot of afternoon heat, and plant selection has to respect that.

Cleanup and ongoing maintenance

Spring and fall cleanups, brush and weed removal, bed edging, bark and gravel refresh, pruning, and irrigation startup and blowout keep a finished yard from sliding backward. We can handle it one time or on a set schedule.

Everything is quoted in writing after we walk the property. We do not estimate landscaping over the phone because slope, access, and soil change the work more than square footage does.

FAQ

Landscaping Questions

What landscaping services do you offer?
Retaining walls, sprinkler and irrigation installation, sod and new lawns, water-wise planting and beds, rock and bark ground cover, and seasonal yard cleanup and maintenance.
When is the best time to landscape in Wenatchee?
Spring and fall are easiest on new plantings and sod. Hardscape like retaining walls and gravel work can run most of the year as long as the ground is not frozen.
Can you reduce how much water my yard uses?
Yes. Reworking zones, converting beds to drip, and replacing unused turf with drought-tolerant planting are the three changes that make the biggest difference here.
Do you work on steep or hillside lots?
Regularly. Grading, terracing, retaining walls, and drainage on sloped properties are a normal part of valley landscaping.
Do you offer free landscaping estimates?
Yes. We walk the property, talk through what you want the space to do, and put a written estimate together. Call or text 509-398-3986.
